Box.... Child Care - hard to keep kids quiet. We really appreciate all the parents who help with child care. Now that the kid area is more organized there is easy access to quiet activities like movies, puzzles, games and arts & crafts. We will try to keep the kids quietly occupied and be forgiving of exuberant outbursts from infants and toddlers!! Why can't we talk about past lives in church? We can. What we can't do is teach that reincarnation is a scientifically proven fact. The National Spiritualist Association of Churches, to which we belong, states that they do not have enough scientific evidence to prove that past lives exist. So we may not teach it or use past life references in our Spirit message work in church. We most certainly can discuss it as a topic. When we receive "past life" images while doing message work we are taught to ask Spirit for the deeper meaning or reason for seeing the image, and to share that information. Late arrivals interrupting speakers. We want everyone to feel welcome at Plymouth, even when they can't get to service on time. We will ask our greeters to serve as ushers during the service, direct late arrivals to wait until an appropriate time to be seated, and then to help them find an "easy to get into seat."
